Duty of Care for Crossbow Netball Club and general welfare issues are of paramount importance to our club.

 

We realise that at times, members and their families may need a person to talk to, who is not necessarily their coach, captain or otherwise. Whether it's raising a safety query, exam pressures, personal finance issues, or any other general worries or concerns – we encourage every member to not hesitate to reach out.

 

Cherie Vowles and Jo Holleley are our Club Safeguarding and Welfare Officers and they are more than happy to listen and help if they can. Both can be contacted via email at crossbowsafeguarding@gmail.com, or in person at matches, trainings sessions and other Club events.

In particular, you will find a list and links to all the relevant safeguarding polices (all of which are adopted by our Club). It also provides information on how to reach out to England Netball for support, raise a concern, or if you’re interested, access training on safeguarding topics.
